Make the right choice regarding component requirements and manufacturing processes

The choice of material has a significant impact both on the performance as well as on the manufacturing costs (CO₂ and €/$/¥/₹) of a component. Given this major influence, it would seem logical to pay attention to materials during the product or process design phase. However, this is not common practice.

prosimalys has wide-ranging and longstanding experience in the field of metallic materials. On the one hand, this is based on numerous projects for introducing new materials into mass production. On the other hand, it is the result of proactive cooperation with steelmakers and research institutes for the purpose of developing new materials and bringing them to series maturity, particularly in the forging industry.
