Press Technology

Factory Planning

Quelle: Fagor

Modern forging press technology and efficient production lines achieve low unit costs and high quality

Modern forging press technology must fulfil the following requirements:

  • High efficiency: A low cycle time (1.5 seconds for multi-stage forging processes) results in lower costs even in the case of higher investments

  • Environmental protection and cost efficiency

    • Use of state-of-the-art components and control technology for low consumption of energy and operating materials

    • Where possible, recirculating lubrication for minimum consumption of operating fluids (lubricating oil and spraying agent)

  • Safety: Design and manufacture in accordance with EU CE or local regulations

Machine planning tailored to customer requirements leads to an ideal balance between specialisation and variability on the production line. We would be happy to support you in the following areas:

  • Planning

  • Technical and business negotiations with suppliers worldwide

  • Project management: preliminary acceptance, dispatch and delivery, installation and commissioning

Factory planning: Cost-efficient production involves more than just the machine. It also means the following:

  • Ensuring an optimum value stream across the entire production line and shop floor

  • Minimising transport and storage costs
